Abstract
Kata Kunci : android, informasi, gending, jawa, musik, mobile application. Masyarakat dewasa ini hampir tidak bisa lepas dari perangkat bergerak (smartphone), baik untuk kebutuhan komunikasi maupun untuk mendapatkan informasi, hampir semuanya bisa didapatkan dari perangkat bergerak (smartphone). Adapun sistem operasi yang sangat popular untuk menjalankan smartphone adalah sistem android. sistem android sangat disukai oleh mayoritas mayarakat, terutama generasi muda pada umumnya, maka dari itu penulis ingin memanfaatkan sistem android yang sedang memiliki popularitas untuk melestarikan salah satu warisan budaya Indonesia dari pulau Jawa yaitu musik tradisional Gending Jawa.
